Mask Making and Mimosas!

We gotta wear ’em so you may as well wear one that’s comfortable and looks good (and have a mimosa while you make it)

What’s more fun than making a mask? Drinking a mimosa and making a mask. Since Sunday brunch plans are very different or non-existent in NYC for the foreseeable future, we’ve launched a new timeslot for our Mask Making workshop to include a very important staple. Sunday mornings are now for Mimosas and Mask Making, so grab your girlfriends and make a morning of it in Gowanus.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the skills to design and make a custom mask that fits your style and your face. We’ll have templates for common mask designs in all sizes or you can create your own unique design. We’ll also have a lot of fabric to choose from or bring your own fabric for your masks (we recommend 100% cotton).

Our craftspeople will guide you through the whole process, from design through construction. After designing and preparing the fabric for your masks, you’ll learn how to use a sewing machine to turn your design into reality. Once the needles are safely away, we’ll pop some bubbly from Gowanus Wine Merchants and enjoy the highs from your conquest.
