Saturday Community Socials
Something is always being made in the back room. This fall, we’re propping the door open so you can wander in, see it happen, and leave with proof you made something too.
Saturday Community Socials are the easy, drop-in cousin of our workshops — a few open hours each week when the shop turns into a neighborhood gathering spot. Stop by on your way through Industry City. Stay for ten minutes or two hours. Carve a stamp, wrap a gift, make something small and take it home.
Come as you are. Leave with something you made.

October 3 — Bat Keychains & Nightmare Before Christmas
Cut, punch, and assemble a leather bat keychain while the shop plays host to its favorite stop-motion ghost story. Low commitment, high spirits.

October 10 — Stamp Carving and Bookmark & The Addams Family

October 17 — Sunset Park Open Studio
Industry City opens its doors wide this weekend, and so do we. Wander through, watch the shop at work, and stop at our stamp-carving table whenever the mood strikes — no set start time required.
Time: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (last stamp carving around 6:00 PM)

October 24 — Fall Scented Bath Salts Bar + Leather Bat Keychains
Blend a fall-scented bath salt made to order with dried fruit and flowers — a collaboration with Mainland Vintage — or stop by our free craft table to make your own leather bat keychain to take home.

November 7 — BYOG Gift-Wrapping Social
Bring your own gift — any shape, any size — and we’ll show you how to wrap it properly. You can also make a free custom ornament to take home. Come get a head start on the holidays before the wrapping chaos begins.

Included: Wrapping paper, ribbon, gift tags, tape, and hands-on help with oddly shaped gifts
