DIY Classes and Workshops in Brooklyn, NYC

Since our opening in 2015, our workshops at Craftsman Ave have focused on teaching the skills needed to make some pretty cool masterpieces. We offer classes on knife making, woodworking, welding, leather-working, and stained glass. Workshops are approximately 4 hours long, and are taught by experienced makers that live and thrive in Brooklyn. We limit the number of guests to ensure everyone gets personalized attention from our instructors. Each class is designed for beginners or experienced artisans alike, no prior experience is necessary.

Date Night Workshops

Looking for a unique date night idea? Any of our workshops can be booked as a Date Night, which means you and your significant other get the chance to learn new skills and craft something together! Enjoy a bottle of wine from Gowanus Wine Merchants and a pizza from Table 87 after you’ve created your masterpiece as part of this package. Just select Date Night when you checkout!

Buddy Up Workshops

You don’t have to be a couple to enjoy the value of making something as a pair! We also offer a Buddy Up package for all of our workshops where you and your partner of choice (friend, family member, coworker, you name it) can book a workshop and create something together. Although we don’t provide food or drinks for this option, we encourage you to bring your own. Select Buddy Up at checkout!
