Our stained glass workshops in Brooklyn are a cozy crafting experience where you’ll learn to create unique stained glass pieces to brighten your home or office. From the ancient craft’s Egyptian roots to modern-day masterpieces, you’ll learn glass cutting, shaping, and joining techniques—all using the iconic Tiffany copper foil method (yes, like the famous Tiffany lamps!).

Our beginner-friendly, 4-hour workshops include all tools, safety gear, and expert guidance. Choose from a variety of templates or create your own design as you learn to cut, grind, foil, and solder glass into a work of art.

Whether you’re brand new or ready to expand your skills, our small group workshops make it easy and fun to create something special. No experience needed—just come ready to learn and leave with a masterpiece you can show off with pride!

Can I create my own design in the workshop?

Yes! In workshops where custom designs are allowed, we provide templates to help get you started, or you’re welcome to bring your own idea. You can also browse the internet for inspiration—just be sure to make it your own. At the start of class, you’ll have about 20 minutes to sketch out your design before diving into the build!

Is this class beginner-friendly?

Yes! No experience needed — all levels welcome.

What should I wear to my stained glass workshop?

Closed-toe shoes and clothes you’re comfy working in. We’ll provide safety gear.

Who can take this class?

Ages 18+. Minors must join through our Buddy Up option with an adult.

What happens in class?

You’ll sketch or pick a design, cut glass, grind, foil, and solder. The session is paced to help everyone finish on time, so simpler designs are encouraged.

How can I prepare?

Browse beginner suncatcher designs online and make it your own (8 pieces or fewer. Simple shapes are best for staying on track.

What not to expect:

This isn’t for large or intricate projects. It’s a one-day intro focused on strong fundamentals — a solid launchpad for future work.
