Greek, Roman, Hindu, and Celtic mythology all held a seat for their blacksmithing god and little has changed about this age old art since those times. Begin your journey towards god-dom in this three hour workshop at Nazz Forge!
This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of blacksmithing and give you plenty of hands-on time to practice them. During this workshop, you’ll transform a piece of steel into a custom bottle opener, using only heat, hammers, and the power of your arms.
In the process of making your bottle opener, you’ll learn the core skills of drifting and drawing steel to form your design. With these skills and a little practice, you’ll be armed with the skills needed to make just about anything out of steel. Just as important, you’ll take home a bottle opener that you designed and shaped with hands. We’re confident whatever you open with that bottle opener will taste WAY better than it ever has!
THIS WORKSHOP TAKES PLACE AT NAZZ FORGE IN INDUSTRY CITY. THEY ARE LOCATED AT 25 34TH ST IN BROOKLYN. AFTER PURCHASE, THEY WILL CONTACT YOU TO SCHEDULE YOUR WORKSHOP.
